Sexual under- and over-tones aside, yes i feel like i'm blogging like a virgin. This would probably be my nth blog account over a period of 5 years. I started in my first year of college just for the heck of it or just because other people had blog accounts of their own - never mind if all they do is smother their site with gazillion pictures --> that's what blogs are (for them) anyway.
I signed up for Friendster, Multiply, Myspace, and other forgettable sites such as ____blog or blog____, I really don't remember. I think I had a maximum of 3 posts per blog and that was it - so very forgettable. Yet this time I'm blogging again - not because others are doing it but because I want to do it for myself. There's a very liberating and comforting feeling to be able to let out hidden or suppressed feelings or thoughts when society is not looking at the "public you". Without having to worry what others will think of me, I feel I can fully exercise my freedom of expression (of course with the tiny limitations that blogspot set).
I hope to be able to show the world the intimate part of the "real me". Just to clarify though, there might be some words or phrases that might be suggestive of things beyond what is wholesome but believe me, 99% of this blog will be very much wholesome..that's probably just how my inner workings are..
